Editorial policy
Silver Leisure Journal aims to make its leisure coverage clear, fair and useful without overstating what an article can establish. Readers should be able to distinguish editorial material from paid or partner content.
Accuracy and clarity
We check wording, names and factual claims before publication and prefer precise, plainly expressed information. Articles are planned as general reading, not as substitutes for specialist advice or local guidance. We do not invent sources, experience or certainty to make a point sound stronger.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Paid or partner material is identified clearly where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee a favourable description, and editorial articles are not presented as partner content.
Corrections
If a reader spots a possible error, they can contact us with the article title and the passage in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted; significant changes should be made clear to readers.
Images and illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Illustrations are used to support the subject, not as evidence that an event, person or place appeared exactly as pictured.
Leisure deserves its own kind of attention
Free time need not be filled to count. We look at the choices that make an hour, afternoon or shared occasion feel well spent.
